Covid Policies
In these times, it wouldn’t be responsible to not address Covid-19 policies and procedures. Delta has been a thought leader since the early days of the pandemic, implementing best-in-class cleaning protocols at every stop along the travel journey. Every interior surface of a Delta aircraft is sanitized with electrostatic sprayers before each flight, and the airline distributes customer care kits, hand sanitizer, wipes and masks to each customer.

Delta also installed hand sanitizer stations near the boarding door and bathrooms on every flight (some installations may be ongoing), and has an on-board mask mandate for all staff and travelers. HEPA air filtration system is the final touch – over 100 layers of protection from check-in to baggage claim make it the gold standard for airlines at the moment.

*Please check Delta’s Covid-19 page for a current list of changes to on-board service in place to protect passengers at this time.

  1. do not rate USA airlines very highly, but have never flown first class. a comparison with other transatlantic carriers would be very helpful.
